We, at Sociall.in, are looking for a young, talented and hard-working web designer to join our team full-time in Chennai.
We believe that world has shifted forever and that more and more businesses are coming online. In this light, we handle an increasing number of website deployments on Shopify, WordPress, Wix and SquareSpace. While these platforms are mostly DIY, they do require a person well-versed in web technologies and SEO to handle them to best effect.
The candidate must be skilled at CMS’ like:
- Shopify
- WordPress
- WooCommerce
- Wix
- Magento
- And other similar platforms.
You must be comfortable working with Themes, Banners, Plugoins, Extensions and Optimizations. YOu must also be comfortable working with advanced technologies like:
- CDNs
- Domain Providers
- Web Hosting Services
Knowledge of FTP clients and SSH clients is a requisite.
In terms of web technologies, you should be comfortable with:
- HTML
- CSS
- JS
- Jquery
- JSON
- Graphic Design
Knowledge on the web and app development side – knowledge of PHP, MariaDB, NGINX and Cordova is a bonus, but not strictly required for the position.
You will be given websites to handle across all of these CMS platforms and will be responsible for:
- Understanding the client’s requirement
- Designing the website based on the same.
- Updating the content on the website
- Keeping the website updated, secure and backed up.
