The strategy for the premium saree brand is divided into two parts - the first involves leveraging the current Instagram presence into online commerce; and the second part involves maintenance of the online site.
The reason for going with Shopify over custom page commerce or Woocommerce would be because of the use of use, integrations with other partners like Facebook, and factors like security, backup and performance being taken care of by the platform. If at a later point of scale we wish to move over to Woocommerce, we can always port the data.
The Shopify process begins with selecting a premium theme (billed at actuals) based on the references provided. Once the theme is purchased, we will begin the process of customizing the theme and uploading the products.

If required, we can configure any third-party apps to lend additional services (billed at actuals) for things like Pincode based availability, and Product Variant Customization.
We will also integrate Shiprocket for delivery (billed based on weight) and Razorpay for payments (billed based on transactions). Shopify charges an additional transaction fee for using alternative payment gateways.
Once the website is set up (process would take upto 1 month) we will provide training on how to handle features. We will also integrate the site over with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Google merchant centre, Google search console, Google analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
We can also enter into the second part of the contract, wherein we have website maintenance - this includes things like product updation, coupons, discounts, co-ordination with the theme developer and configuring any future apps for additional functionality.
