Internet.org, an initiative by Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg approaches internet connectivity as a basic human right, along with the likes of the familiar Roti, Kapda Aur Makaan (Food, Clothing, and Shelter).
Partnering with global tech leaders, the initiative had an objective to provide internet access well beyond the current 60% of the population to the rest of the world who are yet to be connected.
