SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION AND SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING STRATEGIES FOR A HOSTEL BRAND
The strategy for the hostel brand is divided into SEO - Search Engine Optimization (Organic ranking on Google) and SEM - Search Engine Marketing (paid ads on Google)
When it comes to SEO we ’d select keywords and perform On Page Content optimization for the website. We ’d then build backlinks for the keywords so that over time the website ranks on the first page of Google organic search.
When it comes to SEM we’d select keywords, optimize bids, and set up the ads to drive visitors to select landing pages on the site for searchers on Google
Once we have one quarter of SEO/SEM to drive enquiries among working professionals and students; we will move on to website development and branding through Social Media Marketing. This would be designed to reduce our CPC for Google.
We ’d also run Google ads (paid to Google) after making suitable alterations to our landing pages, in order to drive traffic to the website from interested searchers. We ’d measure performance through the use of a Data Studio report.
